Nicolas Gerber is currently leading the Artificial Hearing Research group at the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, University of Bern, after receiving a Bachelor of Science, degree in Microengineering with a major in Mechatronics from the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland in 2007, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with special qualification in Microsensor and Actuator Technology from the University of Bern, Switzerland in 2009, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern, Switzerland in 2013. His research interests include image processing for surgical planning and instrument guidance in computer aided surgery.
