He obtained a PhD degree at the University of Bern in 2014 where he performed research on long-term esophageal ECG for heart rhythm monitoring (biomedical engineering). In parallel, he got a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in applied mathematical statistics. Andreas Haeberlin is trained in internal medicine and cardiology with a special focus on clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is now working at the Department of Cardiology, Bern University Hospital, Switzerland. He holds lectures in basic electrophysiology and cardiovascular technology at the University of Bern.
